I I ABSTRACT The notion of success measured by money and power is like a two-legged stool, you can balance on it for a while, but eventually you‘re going to topple over. Under this circumstance, Arianna Huffington, the chair and editor-in-chief of The Huffington Post, has come up with a third measure of success in her fourteenth book that goes beyond the two metrics of money and power. After less than one week on sale, it ranked first on the New York Times nonfiction bestseller list. The translator selects Chapter One of Thrive to put into translation practice. The translation report includes four chapters: task description, process description, case analysis and translation conclusion. In the first chapter, the author makes a brief introduction to the author and the original text and states the significance of selecting Thrive as the translation text.
