ABSTRACT Eleven years have passed since the logistic socialization reform in Chinese universities was launched in an all-round way in 1999. To date, the reform has initially solved the bottleneck restriction problems of expanding the size of higher education in the field of logistics. In the meantime, the logistic socialization reform in Chinese universities has found out a way to turn from a planned economy system into a market economy system and it effectively ensures and promotes the rapid development of higher education in China. Throughout the process of logistic socialization reform, the ideological and political education on logistical staff is the important guarantee of stabilizing the current reform achievements and pushing forward the advance of reform in university logistics; and it is the chief means of enhancing the political consciousness and moral standards of logistical staff. Strengthening the ideological and political education on logistical staff is the necessary measure of building a harmonious campus and enhancing logistics services, and it has important implications for directing university logistics and cultivating new modern talents of logistics. Therefore, in the process of logistic socialization reform, finding measures to innovate ideological and political education on staff has not only theoretical significance, but also practical one. The thesis is divided into five parts. The first part discusses the meaning of University Logistics and Development .The second part states that ideological and political education plays an important role in the process of logistic socialization reform in Chinese universities. The third part presents the guiding ideology in the ideological and political education on staff in the process of logistic socialization reform nowadays.
