Meanwhile, the code for children’s clothing production and design, the traditional pattern library and the classic cases for the application of the traditional patterns in children’s clothing design are combined for summary in order to find the relevance between traditional patterns and common patterns for children’s clothing. This paper research on development status of Chinese children’s clothing. It researched on classification of traditional patterns and common patterns for Children’s clothing in order to summarize the themes of the traditional patterns which are loved by children and suitable for them. It researched on application of Traditional Patterns in Children’s clothing on the basis of children’s clothing design and production and children’s physiological psychology as well as the cases for the application of the traditional patterns in children’s clothing, the influence factors regarding the application of the traditional patterns in children’s clothing are summarized in this paper.Besides the direct application of the traditional patterns, the application of the improved traditional patterns suitable for children’s aesth
