During the transplantation, patients with high risk of malnutrition could increase the body metabolism and basic energy consumption after several chemotherapies, which would aggravate protein-energy malnutrition of patients and produce a series of problems, such as poor prognoses and life qualities, increased complications, long time hospitalizations, high costs and short survival periods. Therefore, appropriate nutrition assessment methods to evaluate patients’ nutrition status individually and comprehensively could not only obtain the accurate nutrition support time but also assess the real-time effects of nutrition support, and thus timely adjust nutritional therapies. As one of human nutrition sensitive assessment index, plasma amino acids, which are most associated with protein metabolism and the body nutritional status, maintain a certain level in normal circumstances, but the level is disordered in the case of hematology chemotherapy. Consequently, the level of plasma amino acids could indicate nutrition supplement of patients. Presently, less study of plasma amino acid dynamic variations of patients with hematologic malignancies during the intensive chemotherapy have been reported.
