This paper presents a new explanation for Spivak s theory of translation (including her thoughts about the essence of translation and her translation strategies),from the pespectrive of mobile culture notion.So as to get a better understanding of its significance in weak culture s revolting against cultural regemony and to play its full role in the process.In accordance with Spivak s theory, translation is just a mode of human life. Translation is nolonger liberated from subordination to the original text and endowed with independent status and self-contained value. Moreover, translation constitutes a kind of power mechanism. Those innovative insights into translation accord with and provide a proof to the notion of mobile culture that culture exists in mobility through the interactions among different cultural categories.
