Blending the learned sounds. 设计意图： 复习旧知，练习拼读技能，为新 知的学习做准备。  Step! Story Introduce the sound /ch/ using a story. (Teacher may speak Chinese when necessary.) The children are having a ride in an old steam train. The train starts chugging J ch, ch, ch, ch/ The train goes faster, ch, ch, ch, ch! Then steam comes out of the funnel, and the whistle blows. Choo! Choo! The children copy the /ch/ /ch/ /ch/ sound made by the train. Ask Ss to look at the digraph ch and ask them what sound does the digraph ch make? Identify the starting point fbr the formation of the sound with finger. Demonstrate the formation in the air. Ask Ss to watch and imitate the formation, whilst saying the sound. Ask Ss to write over the dotted letters in their books.
