Students will be able to blend words containing the sound /y/ and other sounds they have learnt with fully understanding the meaning of words in the context. Students will be able to identify the /y/ sound in the words. Students will be able to spell words that the teacher sounds out. 二、教学重点 Students will be able to say the /y/ sound when they see letter y. (Teacher may use Chinese when necessary.) T: Its lunch time at school. What are the two kids eating for lunch? (sandwich, egg, carrots and yogurt) Do you like yogurt? What kind of yogurt do you like? What yogurt are they eating? (yellow yogurt) They eat the yellow yogurt, saying, Yyyyyummy, 设计意图: 教师通过故事引入今天要学习 的字母音/y/。学生模仿练习其发 音并了解字母y的发音为/y/。 能够跟着老师进行简单的口头 拼读。 通过找出一些含有/y/音的单词, 培养音素意识。 Stepl: ReviewRevise the sounds /g/, /r/, /k/, /e/, /b/, /er/, /ie/, /ai/, /ee/, /oa/ and their corresponding letters. yyyyyellow, yyyyyogurt.^^ Point out the big y on page 12 and tell the children that whenever they see this letter, they make the /y/ sound. Look at the picture with the children and ask them what they can see. As they point something out, ask if it has a /y/ sound in If it does, emphasize the /y/ sound as you say the word: for example, yellow. If it does not, say the word clearly and ask if they can hear a /y/. Other things in the picture with a /y/ sound are: yogurt, yo-yo, yacht, yolk and yes (tick). Now look at the picture and ask who can point to the “y-oa-y-oa” (yo-yo), saying the word sound by sound. Other words you can use are: y-oa-k
