So, for many years the teaching of writing was neglected as a result of concentration on the aural/oral approach. Some people treated spoken language as of primary and written language as of secondary important. As we all know, writing is as important as oral approach. When Chinese linguist realized this, they paid more attention to English writing. And they found that the interference of native language was a big obstacle for Chinese students to learn English well.English writing is an important skill in English learning. It can objectively reflect students’ competence of expressing, thinking and organizing. A lot of students cannot write native like sentences even if they have learned a large vocabulary and have studied so many English grammar. It is because Chinese and English are poles apart.?“The Chinese students are so familiar with their habit of writing in Chinese practice that they often put it into practice in English writing.”1? They are lacking a?“real” English environment learn English and always tend to ignore the difference between Chinese and English. Because of the strong interference of the native language, students think in Chinese and use English words to express their ideas in the Chinese ways.
