Listen and act.
(Ask pupils to show a pencil and a pencil-box, then listen to the teacher’s order and act.)
Look and say.
Teacher using a pencil and a pencil-box act and ask pupils to say correctly. Presentation Teach: Look at the clock. Listen to the clock.

T: (Show a big clock) Look. What’s this? Listen. It’s a clock.
Pupils try to say ‘clock’ and make sentences with it.
Look at the clock.
Teacher does action. Pupils try to say: ‘Look at the clock.’ Ask pupils to make sentences: e.g. Look at me. Look at the book. …
Listen to the clock.
Teacher moves the clock. It says: Coo-coo. Coo-coo.
Then says: Listen to the clock.
Pupils say after teacher with action.
Teach: Look at the snow. Listen to the wind.
a.(Show a picture of winter) T: Let’s say a rhyme: Snow
Snow
Teacher points ‘snow’ and then ask pupils to says and act.
Look at the snow.
Teacher asks pupils to make sentences using ‘snow’. e.g. Snow is white. Look at the snow.
Listen to the wind.
T: Woo-woo. What can you hear? Now I can hear wind.
Ask pupils to say the word ‘wind’.
T: Let’s act and say: ‘Listen to the wind.’ Ask pupils to say the sentence.
Make sentences using ‘Listen to …’
Listen to the bird. Tweet-Tweet. … Consolidation Play the cassette and read after it.
Make a dialogue.
