Human Interleukin -33 protein secondary structure and B cell epitopes prediction

PAGE \* MERGEFORMAT 3 Human Interleukin -33 protein secondary structure and B cell epitopes prediction Authors: LI Ming-cai, LIU Xiao-Jin, Su Shaobo [Abstract] Objective: To predict human interleukin (IL) -33 secondary structure and B cell epitopes. Methods: The single-parameter (hydrophilic, accessibility, flexibility, and antigenicity) forecasts based on secondary structure prediction by an initial screening, and to ABCpred program as the ultimate validation, forecasting human IL-33 protein secondary structure and B-cell epitope. Results: Human IL-33 protein, N-terminal 1 ~ 19,59 ~ 75,108 ~ 117 and 204 ~ 210 section to predict B-cell epitope. Conclusion: The predicted results will help determine the human IL-33 B-cell epitope and its biological active site. [Keywords:] Interleukin -33; secondary structure; B cell epitope; Forecast [Abstract] Objective: To predict the secondary structures and B cell epitopes of human interleukin (IL) -33. Methods: The location of B cell epitopes was predicted by screening the secondary structure of IL-33. Analysis was on the basis of the prediction results of hydrophilicity, accessibility, flexibility, antigenicity followed by a verification using ABCpred program. Results: The predicted B cell epitopes were found to locate at the protein sequence of amino acids 1 ~ 19, 59 ~ 75, 108 ~ 117 and 204 ~ 210 for IL-33. Conclusion: These findings would be helpful for estimate of the epitopes and activity sites localized within human IL-33. [Key Words] interleukin-33; secondary structure; B cell epitope; prediction Interleukin -33 (Interleukin-33, IL-33) is the latest [1] using a computer sequence analysis, discovery and identification of a pre-inflammatory cytokines. Its gene sequence and structure with the IL-1 family members IL-1β and IL-18 is similar to IL-1 family belongs to a new member, namely, IL-1F11. IL-33 binding IL-1 receptor family member ST2, activating nuclear factor-κ B and promote mitogen-activated protein kina
