Teaching Theory and Practice of Evaluation
Abstract: In order to further sum up, the exchange of curriculum reform in the course of teaching experience and theoretical evaluation of new research to explore the evaluation of the difficult problems, and effectively improve the theoretical evaluation of the level of teaching and practical applications, peer education across the Taiwan Strait in 2006 in April was held in Tianjin Symposium on teaching evaluations. Seminar’s theme is: Teaching Theory and Practice of Evaluation. Delegates discuss the subject there are four major areas: curriculum evaluation of the status and prospects; curriculum evaluation of the basic issues; effective classroom teaching evaluation criteria; teaching evaluation and teacher professional development research. The meeting after two days of warm and thoughtful discussion has achieved fruitful results.

Abstract: The Cross Straits educators held an academic symposium on curriculum and teaching assessment in Tianjin in April, 2006, with the aim to further summarize and exchange the new experiences and theoretical research results of curriculum and teaching assessment in the curriculum reform. The theme of the symposium is the theoretical and practical exploitation on curriculum and teaching assessment, which mainly involves the following four topics: the current situation and prospects of curriculum and teaching assessment; the basic problems of curriculum assessment; the assessment criteria for effective classroom teaching; study on curriculum assessment and teachers’ professional development. The symposium gets great success after two day’s heated and creative discussion.
