Summary: Britain is known as the traditional emphasis on science education. As early as the 17th century, Britain’s Francis Bacon, the father of science education (Francis Bacon) proposed: knowledge is power. In 1869, the famous British natural scientists and educators Huxley (Thomas Henry Huxllwy ,1825-1895), advocates should be a natural knowledge as an important component of education. After the British began to set up chemistry curriculum in secondary schools. After nearly a hundred and fifty years of reform and development, the United Kingdom has developed a unique system of secondary school chemistry curriculum. In this paper, the British chemical history of curriculum reform and development of an inspection, hoping to China’s ongoing reforms in the secondary school chemistry curriculum inspiration.
First, before the middle of the 20th century, the chemical curriculum reform
