New Chinese Curriculum: Reflections and Prospects
Abstract: The implementation of the new curriculum to reflect the language, it set a language teacher teaching concepts and methods of teaching and research concepts and methods to refresh the student’s language learning methods and evaluation methods, but also refreshing approach to training teachers. However, the new curriculum in the context of language teaching has also revealed that the new formalist tendencies, exposing teachers and the teaching process diluted the role of the dilemma of other issues. Looking prospects for the implementation of new curriculum should be strongly oriented to reform rigid examination system, and reform of the school administrative system, optimize the quality of language teachers themselves, so that the new curriculum in the classroom language flourish.

Abstract: On considering the implementation of the new Chinese curriculum, it has refreshed Chinese teachers ‘philosophy and method in teaching and research, changed students’ way of learning and evaluation, changed the way of teacher training. However, the Chinese classroom teaching in the new curriculum also reveals the tendency of new formalism and the inner-emptiness of teaching process and the dilemma of teachers’ roles. Looking forward to the prospect of the implementation of the new Chinese curriculum, we should firmly reform the rigid examination system and the school administration, and improve Chinese teachers’ quality so as to make the new Chinese curriculum really implemented in the classrooms.
