AbstractAdventure- Based Counseling is a mode which based on the experiential learning, the main characteristic is experiential learning. Through guiding the participants to experience the feeling of crisis, to stimulate personal potential, and develop team spirit. The paper mainly by evaluating what does the Adventure- Based Counseling model do to the special children at the Shenzhen B childrens Welfare Institute, to demonstrate that Adventure- Based Counseling pattern has a positive effect to childrens ability. The evaluation of the Studies were taken by compare the test data before and after the activity, and collect related statistical data, combined with the process observation records and later visit to conduct a comprehensive assessment -- during the study period of preparation, the research choose participants through the use of childrens capability evaluation form to involved in the object; in the course of the study, to record the groups development situation and members’ individual change status; at the end of the study period, using the same evaluation form for participants in the post-test assessment, and according to the evaluation result data comparison to demonstrate research hypothesis. The results shows that through the adventure growth group, children who participate with different degrees all have ability promotion, mainly in childrens problem-solving, communication, emotion management, behavior management skills. At the same time, through the group records and follow-up visits, children in the group showed different degrees of improvement in helping and acceptance others , etc., they also learned how to use behavior patterns and problem solving in the daily life, and further expand the influence to the other children in courtyard, then change the residential living environment.Keywords:Adventure- Based CounselingChildren’s abilityAssessment目录摘 要······································································································
