In the early periods of research, psychologists often treat creativity as a trait, the purpose of the study is to reveal the characteristics and causes of the differences. With further study of the creativity, the recent research usually regard creativity as a manifestation, and the focus of the study is to explore the influence of various factors on creativity. Music as an important part of human society, in previous researches has been proved having huge influences on people’s behaviors, but in creativity research field, there is a lack of study on background music. The research starting from the different point of views, through three experimental design to investigate the influence of the tempo of the background music on creativity with different conditions. Research one using the single factor experimental design, the tempo of background music (fast / slow) as independent variables, insight problem solving ability and divergent thinking ability as the dependent variable, discussing the influence of different tempo of the background music on two kinds of creative ability; Research two using the 2*3 experimental design, on the bas
