Methods: 90 SD rats were randomly divided into 6 groups: sham operation group、pure ischemia group、ischemia-reperfusion+saline group、ischemia- reperfusion+puerarin group、ischemia-reperfusion+esmolol group、ischemia reperfusion+puerarin+esmolol group. Sham operation group ：lined under the left anterior descending,but did not tie up the line of ligature; Pure ischemia group: lined under the left anterior descending and tighten up the line of ligation; Ischemia reperfusion + saline/drug group: established the models of acute myocardial ischemia for firstly, 30 minutes later draw off the silicone tubes and reperfused,2 minutes before the left anterior descending was reperfused,injected the corresponding dose of saline/drug through the femoral vein.The successful models were established as long as 3 hours,then taken renal venous blood and detected the serum superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity、malondialdehyde (MDA) content, the data for statistical analysis, while observing the morphological changes of myocardial cells under light microscope.
