Students complete a word web and talk about different body languages they often use to communicate attitudes and feelings. Students predict what was going on according to the picture and students’ background knowledge. 激活学生背景知识,引入主题。 解释部分生词,铺垫语言。 First Reading Students read the first paragraph to check their prediction. Students read the text and use the reading strategies to choose a heading for each paragraph. Students discuss which strategies they used to find headings. 培养学生概括文章段落主旨的阅读能力, 引导学生理解文章结构。 Second Reading Students read the text once again and take notes in the table. Students answer questions based on their notes. Read the text again if necessary. What does body language consist of? What are the differences between spoken language and body language?
