Students watch a video about charities and volunteers with a question raised by teacher. Q: Which charities are mentioned in the video? What can volunteers do for the charities? 2. Students read “Did you know?” individually on Page 19 of students’ book to get some information of charities and volunteers in Britain and China. Teacher invites students to talk what else they know about the topic and add more relevant information. To have more background knowledge about charities and volunteers.
