Help the students to learn Part 1 with the following questions: a. How is the snake? b. What animal does she see? 3. Help the students learn Part 2. 4. Help Ss read Part3, Part4 and Part5. a. Have the students read loudly and fill in the table. b. Ask a question: What things can the rat do? c. Motivate the students to read and imitate sentence by sentence. d. Have the students learn the new word and phrase: lake, throw … into. 5. Lead the students to learn Part 6. a. What can the rat do? b. Why? 6. Lead the students to watch the whole story . 1.The students listen to the story and imitate. 2.The students imitate to read and try to act. “Here comes my tasty food.” 3.
