人民教育出版社八年级英语下册 新授课 Unit4 《Why don”t you talk to your parents ? 》Section A 3a—4c Unit4 《Why don”t you talk to your parents ? 》Section A 3a—4c 一、教学目标: 1. 语言知识目标: 1) 学习掌握下列词汇: get on with; relation, communication, argue, cloud, elder, instead, whatever, nervous, offer, proper, secondly, communication, explain, clear 2)阅读短文,能按要求找到相应的信息。 3)通过阅读提高学生们的阅读能力。 4) 了解在如果生活中发生了一些不尽如人意的问题,应当如何面对理性地去解决。 2.情感态度价值观目标: 人的一生并不都是一帆风顺的,难免有一些挫折的困难,如果生活中发生了一些不尽如人意的问题,我们 学会冷静对待,学会合理的办法去理性地去解决。 二、教学重难点 1. 教学重点: 1) 掌握本部分出现的生词和词组,达到熟练运用的目标。 2.教学难点: 1)阅读短文,获得相关的信息的能力。 2)理解并运用所学的词汇及表达方式。 三、教学过程 Step1 Revision T : I summarized some of the problems that we learned last class. Do you want to see? Ss :Yes. Some students have too many after-shool classes. Most of the students have too much homework. Many students can’t get good grades. Other students often fight with others. T: Do your parents allow you to watch TV? Parents refuse to let us watch TV. So we often argue with them. As a result ,we can’t get on well with each other. (通过复习上一节课的知识引出这一节课的几个句型和新单词。) T:What will you do if you have many problems? Ss: Ask for help. T: Yes , What will you say if someone asks you for advice? Ss: You should .../ You could .../ What about .../How about.../ Why don’t you ...?/ Why not ...? (通过复习上一节课的句型,引出这一节课的句型。) Step 2 Lead-in T: I will introduce one of my friends, he’s 13 years old and he is very sad . So he called himself Sad and thirteen . Let’s see the picture about his parents. Can you guess what’s happening? Ss : His mother is arguing with his father. T: Yes. So he wrote a letter to a school counselor for advice. The school counselor gave him some advice.Do you want to know about it? (通过看图猜测两封信的内容,对课文进行预测。) Step 3 Presentation 1)T: Read the two letters quickly and try to find out the answers to the questions What’s Sad and Thirteen’s problem? How does he feel at home?
