Methods Based on the thorough survey on social healthcare institutions conducted in six districts in Shanghai ， 200 social healthcare institutions were chosen for questionnaire survey. Microsoft Excel and SPSS andsoftware was used to establish database and SPSS and ProductView software were used to analyze data. Secondary data collection method was used to investigate the current situation of TCM preventive healthcare institutions in Shanghai. Results Social healthcare institutions have developed rapidly and are with good quality of services. However， they have problems in personnel allocation ， technical ability and hygienic quality. TCM preventive healthcare institutions have relatively high technical ability ， but the utilization of service is not enough. Conclusion Social healthcare institutions and TCM preventive healthcare institutions can search for cooperation and development in the aspects of layout optimization ， technical specification ， service improvement and personnel training. 随着社会经济的不断发展，国民对健康越来越关 注，而中医“治未病”的思想正好与此需求相契合， 由此大 批社会养生机构应运而生。 但该行业的快速扩张使社会中医养生 机构良莠不齐， 一定程度上影响了消费者信心和热情， 也给我国 中医保健事业的发展带来隐患。 本研究对上海市社会养生机构现 状进行调查分析， 并结合上海市中医预防保健机构的情况进行
