Electro-acupuncture is done on the first day after making model, one course for 5days,then rest for 2 days ,in total carrie on 4 treatment courses like that.The group without acusector raise to the end of treatment courses. Resul t s: Morris water labyrinth, immunity and RT-PCR test :when remain olfactory pathway ,in comparion with Ⅱgroup, the time of water labyrinth escape latency (AEL)and the distance of swimming decreased remarkably in Ⅴ group ,also the activity of CHAT and the content of Ach and M1 receptor increased significantly,the mRNA expression of M1 receptor also increased , the activity of AchE decreased remarkably (P0.05); whereas when don’t remain olfactory pathway , no significant differences were found between Ⅳgroup and Ⅵgroup (P0.05),significant differences were found between Ⅳgroup and Ⅲ group(P0.05); point out: “Xiu san zhen” can improve stupid rats’ ability of learning and memorization, olfactory pathway is the main way that “Xiu san zhen” can treat AD.Acupuncture method:Obliquely needling to the inward region of “Ying xiang”(LI20) for 0.3cm and horizontally needling to the nasal root of “Yintang”(EX-HN3) for 0.3cm.
