Under the transmission electron microscope observation: Observing the 7th day’s specimens, In the experimental group, the chromatin of the endothelial cells collected nearby the karyotheca, the mitochondria swelled and vacuoles appeared in the mitochondria. The same phenomenon occurred in the smooth muscle cells. The apoptosis body was found in the smooth muscle cells. Caspase-3 positive expression rate: Caspase-3 expressed in all specimens. In the same group, the caspase-3 expression rate was the highest at 7th day. The control group expression rate was extremely low. Compared with the control group, B group and C group’s rate of caspase-3 expression had not been obvious difference, p ＞ 0.05. Compared with the control group, D group、E group and C group’s rate of caspase-3 expression had been obvious difference, p＜0.05. Compared among all groups, There were no difference in the A group、B group and C group; there were no difference in the D group、E group and F group too. But there was obvious difference between A group、 B group、C group and D group、E group、F group. Compared between vascular wall and perivascular tissue, there was no difference between D group and E group, the rate of vascular wall was higher than the rate of the perivascular tissue; but the obvious difference occurred in the F group. Conclusion: PYM was the effective drug that treated the cavernous hemangiomas, 3mg/ml and 4mg/ml may be the appropriate concentration. The vascular wall was damaged by PYM through the method of cells apoptosis. The experiment provided the experimental basis of PYM treating the cavernous hemangiomas.
