Unit 4 I used to be afraid of the dark教学设计 深州市第一中学 杨会省 教学目标：能够正确运用used to do sth ， be used to doing sth和be used to do sth 教学重点：used to do sth的一般疑问句及否定句的运用。 教学难点：used to do sth,,be used to doing sth和be used to do sth的区分。 教学流程： Step1. used to do sth 与 be used to sth/doing sth 的区别 used to do sth. 过去常常做某事 表示过去经常性或习惯性的动作或状态，暗指现在已经不存了，强调过去与现在的对比。可用于所有人称。 e.g. I used to get up early. He used to be shy Tom used to be a worker ,but now he is a manager. Step2. used to的否形式和疑问形式有两种： 否定形式为：used not to + do或：didn’t use to do 疑问形式为：Used … to …? 或：Did … use to …? e.g. I didn’t use to be popular in school. /I used not (usedn’t )to be popular in school. Did he use to be short? / Used he to be short? Step3. 反意疑问句:陈述句+didn’t / usedn’t +主语? You used to be quiet, didn’t you? 你以前很文静，是不是? Jack used to play basketball, didn’t he? 杰克以前打篮球，是不是？ Step4. be / get used to sth. / doing sth. 习惯于某事 / 做某事 e.g. Lucy has been used to (eating) Chinese food. Lucy已经习惯(吃)中餐了。 I think you’ll get used to the climate soon. 我想不久你就会习惯这种气候的。 Step5. use ... to do sth.用……做……/ be used to do sth. 被用来做某事 e.g. They use the knife to cut meat. 他们用刀切肉。 e.g. This kind of wood is used to make paper. 这种木头是被用来做纸的。 Step6.Do exercises.
