PAGE PAGE 24 大学生短期出国交流项目和语用能力发展的个案研究 摘要：伴随着国际化的进程，高等学校和大学生都越来越重视短期访学项目带来的学术方面的进步和语言方面的提高。但是中国学生在国外访学期间会经历变化并且面临挑战。中国的英语学习者，即使是高级学习者，不能熟练并准确的用英语沟通是很常见的现象。虽然他们掌握了大量的词汇和语法知识，这一现象还是不能避免。但是，一个五六岁的，母语为英语的儿童却可以无障碍的与人沟通，即使他的词汇量非常有限。许多学者认为，造成这一现象的主要原因就是第二外语学习者对惯用表达方面知识的缺乏。 本文是定性的个案研究，目的是为了了解五位受访的中国学生在访学期间如何有意识的在他们的日常沟通中使用惯用表达。访谈中的数据都会被手机记录并且分析。同时，本文为未来打算出国访学的学生提供一定的建议和意见，有利于他们更高效的融入当地生活，提高语言能力。 关键词：出国访学，语用能力发展，惯用表达，个案研究 A Case Study of Chinese Abstract: With the process of society’s globalization and internationalization, universities, as well as university students pay more attention to study abroad programs, which can contribute to students’ academic achievements and second language proficiency development. But Chinese students face challenges and changes in study abroad situations. It is very common that Chinese learners of English even at a high English proficiency have difficulty in making communication in English fluently and accurately, although they have a good command of vocabularies and grammatical rules. On the other hand, even a five to six years old native child can speak English fluently and authentically even though their vocabularies are very limited. Many scholars believe that L2 learners’ lack of enough conventional expressions may be the main reason. This qualitative case study aims to examine how five international students from China applied the conventional expressions they noticed during short-term study abroad programs. Interview data were collected and analyzed. This paper provides advice on how to better communicate with people and the realization of pragmatic development.
