Today I will introduce you a new friend. He is worried about not having a birthday. Next we will learn a new story Mr. Moon’s birthday.

Pre-reading : Think about following questions.
Which month is the month of the moon’s birthday ?
Why was the moon not able to decide which month to have his birthday?
Was it easy for the moon to decide when to have his birthday ? Why?
In the end, how did the moon settle this problem ?
While--reading:
(1)Watch the text video.
(2)Students read the text again.
(3)Which month is the best for Mr. Moon’s birthday? Find out the reasons.
(4)Every month Mr. Moon will be big and round. So he decide to have 12 birthdays every year.
3、After--reading :
(1)According to the text, fill in the blanks.
(2)Retell the story .
(3)Celebrate the birthday of Mr. Moon.
