英语听力I课程教学大纲 (总学时数:64,学分数:4) 英语听力I课程教学大纲 School of Foreign Languages Module Guide 2012 Module Title: Enlgish Listening = 1 \* ROMAN I Module code:Number of Credits: 2 Module Leader: William Steven Introduction to the module This course is designed to train students’ English application ability by a combination of listening and speaking exercises in various forms. It guides the students through the process required to overcome the obstacles in their listening and speaking of English. What the students should acquire after the study of this course is to understand the common English used in social circumstances and to talk fluently on daily topics. Topics include the differences in the pronunciation of different English-speaking countries, listening skills, communication in daily life and oral English skills. Teaching hours: 32 The module starts with the topic of sports and then move to different topics in our daily life. This module also focuses on some listening strategies. Taking responsibility for your own learning is even more appropriate in the area of English listening and speaking than in almost any other module so students will be encouraged to keep reflecting about their own experiences, behaviour and learning. 1.
