“English Course Standard” requires that we focus on the process of teaching in English students in innovation and capacity-building. So, we are in the English classroom teaching how to innovate education? Here I talk about in the daily process of teaching some of the exploration and practice.
First, the psychological barriers, improve self-confidence in students to learn English
In English teaching and learning process, often find the students because of some factors caused by psychological problems, it is very easy to give a negative impact on both teaching this, should arouse our attention. These psychological problems, mainly as follows: (1) the fear of poor performance, undermine their own teacher and with the study and head of the image, lower self-worth, therefore, prefer silence; (2) fear of performance because of their own accounts of others performance opportunities and learning time; (3) mistakenly think that performance was the limelight, not modest, not performance; (4) lack of self-expression of the correct concepts, habits, courage, therefore, as teachers should help students to eliminate psychological barriers. Some students learn less, with little recognition of the teachers, most of them inferiority complex heavy, the performance in the classroom for the absent-minded, not to speak nor to learn. Teachers should strive to understand them, not hurt students can use the language of self-esteem, to criticize them. Teacher in front of students is a respectable figure, even more intimate friends. Teachers should give students full respect, understanding and tolerance, so that the students will create relaxed learning environment to enhance students self-confidence in learning English.
