华华中科技大学硕士学位论文 II II Abstract With the rapid development of virtualization technology, the desktop virtualization technology is gradually mature and booming. Typically, desktop virtualization systems include Virtual Device Interface (VDI) and Web Operating System (WebOS). VDI needs to install a client program, while WebOS occupies a lot of client resources and needs to install the plug-ins. To overcome these problems, this paper proposes a mechanism based on the HTML5 based primitive translation scheme in the desktop virtualization environments. Users do not need to install client programs and plug-ins. As long as the basic network conditions are satisfied, it can be used after logging in with the browser supporting HTML5. The HTML5 based primitive translation mechanism has access to the virtual machine image on the web client, and implements the non-terminal in the HTML5 function. Hence, redrawing the client-side using HTML5 can be achieved. HTML5 transmission method mechanism in virtualized desktop systems has implemented the non-terminal. It can sign in the browsers supporting HTML5 and also can adaptively adjust interface window for different terminals. Our experimental results show that the delay time of user response within 300ms and the mechanism reduces the transmission bandwidth and network transmission delay significantly, while the amount of data remains the same with Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP).
