A Abstract III III IV IV On June 28, 2012, the state council about support of Jiangxi, such as the revitalization of the several opinions of the development of the central Soviet area, the state will increase support for Jiangxi Soviet area, to accelerate the process of new industrialization and urbanization, the study hunt for a new way to realize leap-forward development in less developed areas, to solve the prominent problem of the peoples livelihood and restrict the development of the weak links should give policy support.In Jiangxi Soviet area in the process of economic construction, how to reasonable use and protection, the land will be an urgent need to study the problem.In Jiangxi Soviet area landscape pattern of land use change and its driving force research, ecological protection and construction is conducive to the region, and realize the sustainable development of economy and society of Jiangxi Soviet area. Thanks for the help of Landsat TM/ETM images date from the USGS of Jiangxi Soviet area in 1985-2013, based on the methods of artificial interpretation and automatic classification, extract of the Land-Use/Cover Changes (LUCC) and establish its database of nearly 30 years in Jiangxi Soviet area. Using spatial analysis and statistics methods to analysis the amount of land using changes in the studied area,the land using structure evolution, and the speed of change in land using, the spatial difference of county land use change. To analysis the change of landscape pattern by the software Fragstats3.3 and Arcgis10.2 for nearly 30 years. Researching conclusions are as follows: Nearly 30 years of Jiangxi Soviet area in land use, among them, cultivated land and artificial surface had biggest change.Woodland and grassland area have small amplitude decreases, wetland overall stable/water area, the other land use types have small amplitude increase.Jiangxi Soviet area land use overall showed a trend of accelerated the speed of change, especially after 2000,
