To?analyze?the?students?
We are facing the students who can speak few English and scared to speak in the class, I think the most important thing for me to do is to arouse their interests and make them love English, and feel confident in this subject. so, we should not only focus on the language point itself ,but also set up the habit when I can encourage them to express themselves better.
To?analyze?the text?book??
Using the words:day, play, rain, wait, name, face. We’ll?study the?word’s?pronunciation and the pronunciation of/e?/.?
According?to arouse their interests,?I?make?the?teaching?aims?of?this?lesson?as?follows.?
Knowledge aims:
1.master the words:day, play, rain, wait, name, face
2. master the pronunciation: /e?/.
Ability aim:
master the pronunciation of words which contain these letters: ay ai a
Important points:
the pronunciation of /e?/.
Key points:
Learn to read these words fluently.
Teaching?aids.?
In?order?to?interest?the?students.?I’ll?use?a few pictures,?recorder, power point?as?my?teaching?aids?
Teaching procedure:
Step1. Warm-up
Say hello to the students when they arrive in the classroom.
Step2. Presentation
lead in.
tell a story to interest students.
Let students find out the the pronunciation of /e?/.
show the flowing words: day, play, rain, wait, name, face. Let students listen and find the same point of these words.
T: Listen, can you find the same point of these words?
S: They all pronounce /e?/.
Teacher teaches the pronunciation of /e?/.
3. I can read them:
Show the words: day, okay, may, play, away, ray, say. Let students read the words in groups.
Show the words: rain, wait, train. Let students try to read the proverb: No pain, no gain.
Show the words: name, face, cake, table, game, lake. Let students read them one by one.
4. Let students discuss the three groups of the words, teach students find the pronunciation of “ay ai a “.
