SectionB 2a-3b 教学设计 一、教材分析 　　第五单元文化氛围浓厚，介绍了国内外不同的节日。本课时是第五单元SectionB部分的第二课时，围绕西方国家的一个重要节日——圣诞节展开教学内容，侧重对节日的文化内涵的输入，让学生深入的理解西方文化。通过一篇阅读文章，呈现了一系列相关的词汇和重点句型，引导学生对阅读进行深层次的理解，旨在培养学生的推断能力。阅读语篇通过探讨圣诞节的精神，让学生明白以下道理：关爱、同情及怜悯之心是人类社会的宝贵财富，人人应当将之继承弘扬，以爱心回报社会。 二、学情分析 通过对本单元前几个课时的学习，学生对节日文化的学习有了清晰的思路，为本课时的学习打下了基础。大部分中国学生对圣诞节并不陌生，但是对其内涵和意义却未必熟知。这就需要教师进行适当的铺垫和引导，减少因背景文化积累不足带来的学习压力。八年级的学生具备一定数量的英语知识储备，已经掌握一些简单的阅读技巧，但对语篇的深入理解还需加强训练。 三、教学目标： 知识目标：Read to learn about the spirit of Christmas； learn new words and expressions 能力目标：learn to use the reading strategy ---inferring 情感目标：spread the spirit of Christmas 四、教学重难点： 重点：Use reading strategies to understand the passage. 难点：learn to use the new reading strategy---inferring. 教学方法： task-based language teaching, communicative teaching 六、教学手段：多媒体 七、教学过程 Step1 Pre-reading 1:Warm up T: Play the English song---Jingle Bells Ss: Enjoy the song and sing along with it. T:Show the mind map of Christmas and ask questions. Ss:Answer questions.
