Step 1:Warm up

Review the sentences through T’s friends Bob and May. Ask and answer in pears.

Write them on the board.
Talk about Ss themselves
Talk freely. b. Show their dialogue.

Step 3 : Presentation.
1.Let’s try
a. T:What about Mike and Wu Yifan? How old/tall/heavy..are they? What size are their shoes?
Listen and circle.
b.Listen again. Fill the blanks.
Why do they want to buy new cloth and new shoes?
Watch the video of Let’s talk. Answer two questions.
What size are Mike’s shoes?

Watch the video and follow it. Answer two question.

Role play. Make the dialogue to four parts. T asks some pairs to act the dialogue.
Step 4: Practice.

学情分析
六年级的学生有一定的思想,在一定程度上有竞争意识,大多数学生有自尊心,除了注意事物外表的形式之外,更注意对事物的分析和主观体会,对很多问题都可以做出自己的回答。他们记忆发展的另一特点是从机械记忆向意义记忆发展。所以在语法的学习上会比较困难,抽象的概念很难被他们接受,不如通过语句的反复训练来习得语法知识。
六年级学生有一定的英语语言基础。本班32位学生,大部分同学基础比较好,对英语学科较感兴趣,学习积极性高,
